On 5-8-2024 Flanders Ambulance was dispatched to a motorcycle crash on Flanders Road and Evergreen Road. No one that was involved in the accident were trapped in the car and all self extricated. It was apparent when arriving on scene that a helicopter was needed for a patient involved in the accident. A second ambulance arrived from Flanders Ambulance to assist with a second patient involved. One patient was loaded onto an ambulance and taken to a local hospital. The other patient was stabilized while waiting for the helicopter to arrive. Once arrived the flight medic took over and the patient was flown off to a hospital. Flanders Fire was dispatched to help secure a landing zone. Thanks to Southampton PD, NYS Troopers for traffic control and Flanders FD.
